SHANGHAI-The Omron were three near missing away from the Speedlimit which is the champion of last season in today’s game.
Both of the teams showed us a hustle play this week. It seemed that they fought every corner of the court until the end of the game.
The game began extremely well for both teams. Omron stretched the lead first. They jumped ahead with 10-3 burst but they couldn’t expand their advantage all the time. Speedlimit also did a great job on defense which caused the Omron turnovers and answered with a 7-3 surge. As the time went by, Omron maintained the lead throughout the first period.
At the second half, both of them took give-and-go and pick-and-roll to make up for the shortage of their physical strength to raise their field goal percentage. Just take a short time, Omron cede the lead while the Speedlimit took advantage of their opponent’s turnovers to expand the gap of the scores. Speedlimit built an 3-point lead to finish the game.
It’s abnormal for everyone to make mistakes, as well as the referee. But I want to say that we should always try our best to find the point of balance in order to keep fair. Because every decision we made is to play a decisive role.
There are maybe some external reasons for Omron loosing the game today. However, game is the game.
